From ABC's prime time Live Aid concert special- featuring news update on President Reagan's surgery (where vice-president Bush actually served as president for a couple hours).
Also included here is a short promo for the US Women's Open Golf Championship (with "Love's Theme" by Love Unlimited Orchestra in the background, though the 70s were WAY over by this time) and commercials for Visine, GTE Sprint long distance, Budweiser and a short Newswatch 13 (KOVR Sacramento) bumper mentioning Reagan's surgery again.
Incidentally this was recorded on one of the first VCRs with a stereo tuner during KOVR's first few months on the air with a stereo signal. There was little actual stereo material then however (ABC couldn't yet send out their programming in stereo til the next year) so mono sound was run through a fake-stereo processor which was often annoying. (ABC-owned KGO channel 7 in San Francisco didn't get stereo until TWO YEARS after this!)
